SHARED RACES

How Hop Earth multiplayer works

Hop.Earth connects players to multiplayer sessions and custom races built around real-world start and destination points. Create or join a race, wait for the session and route to load, then share the race link shown by the game.

Create a Hop Earth multiplayer race

01

Load a stable location first

Confirm that the map and a vehicle work before adding multiplayer state. This separates route-generation trouble from a session issue.

02

Open the current race flow

Use the live multiplayer or race interface. Labels can change while the project is developing.

03

Choose start and destination

Prefer connected, clearly mapped roads. Extremely long or remote routes add more opportunities for tile or generation delays.

04

Share the race link

Copy the race or session link generated by Hop.Earth and send it to the players you want to invite.

Join a shared race

Open the shared link in a current desktop browser, allow the game to finish loading, and verify the race name or destination before driving. If the expected race does not appear, ask the host to create a fresh link.

Server state matters

If every player sees a different problem, first confirm that each person can drive solo. If solo works but the shared race does not, recreate the session after a short wait.

Plan a better race

Pick endpoints that produce a clear road story: mountain pass, coastal corridor, river crossing, or compact city sprint. Our route generator supplies exact coordinate pairs, route style, difficulty, and approximate distance.
